Adamawa state police arrest 15 suspects for phone theft
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 15 suspects associated with the Shila Boys for their alleged involvement in theft, particularly targeting phones and other belongings of residents.
The command, in a statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, and shared on its official account on Friday, said the arrests occurred during the recent Sallah celebrations in Yola and Jimeta,

The statement included the following excerpt: "Continued endeavors are proving fruitful, as an additional 15 members of the Shilla Cult were apprehended during the recent Sallah festivities in both Yola and Jimeta metropolises.
"The suspects names are as follows , Abdullahi Shuaibu, aged 18; Usman Ahmadu, aged 32; Auwal Saleh, aged 18; Usman Abdullahi, aged 21; Muhammad Abubakar; Auwal Isah, aged 20;, aged 18; Jamilu Hassan, aged 19; Abdussalam Abdullahi, aged 20; and Salisu Umar, aged19.
"Others ade Yahya Umaru, Jamilu Sani, aged 18; aged 25; Salahudeen Auwal, aged 18; Abraham Joel, aged 18 Yusuf Ahmed, aged 20;; and Muhammad Auwal, aged 19, all of various addresses.

The suspects were arrested with “mobile phones, Guns machete, illegal drugs amongst others were recovered."
