ASUU UPDATES: ASUU SUSPEND STRIKE, ASK LECTURER TO RESUME ON FRIDAY

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)  on Thursday 7-2-2019 suspended its 3-month old strike that they have reached an agreement with the Federal Government.
however, warned federal government that, this is a suspension, not an full call-off. If government go back on Promise on our agreement, we will embark on another industrial action with full force.
The news was posted on twitter by ASUUNGR 

The strike was suspended after a 2-hour meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige.
ASUU president, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, said lecturers are to resume on Friday, February 8, 2019.
