BREAKING: POPULAR YAHOO BOY TEMITOPE TESLIM JAILED FOR 16 MONTH OVER INTERNET FRAUD

SUSPECT

Lagos Zonal Office of EFCC, secured the sentence of Temitope Alani Teslim, for Internet fraud on January 22, 2019.
Sherifat of (Justice) of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos sentence him to 16 years imprisonment  for Internet scamming popularly known as Yahoo Or G-guy.
Temitope Teslim was arrested by the Nigeria Army Corps of Military Police on May 16 2018 in Lagos and was immediately handed over to EFCC.
During the interrogation and investigation, the suspect wrote about three statements, in which he confessed that he was into dating  yahoo guy. He was re-arraigned today on an amended 22_count charge bordering on possession of illegal documents.
The suspect pleaded guilty to the charges. The prosecuting counsel, Bilikisu Buhari, told the court that the accused had been pleading with the EFCC. After hearing the terms of agreement reached by the prosecution and defence, the trial judge declared him accordingly, and sentenced him to one year and four months in prison 16months.
